Aldinga Tours is Newcastle and Lake Macquarie based family owned and operated and has been successfully conducting Soft Adventure Travel Australia wide for over 21 years and have been the privileged recipient of many acclaimed Industry and Business awards, both locally and nationally.

Transport - This includes:

COVID Safe Travel: Aldinga Tours will need to sight proof of full vaccination (2 doses) for you to travel with us as per government guidelines and the requirements set by most of the accommodation and businesses we visit on our trips.

Passenger Comfort: To ensure comfort and safety, smoking and the consumption of drink and food are not permitted by law in the vehicle. However, regular comfort stops are made. Seat Rotation daily to ensure everyone enjoys forward and window seating.

Clothing, luggage & personals: Bring casual clothing and supportive footwear, hat, torch, personal towel or body chamois for swimming, toiletries and insect repellent. Don’t forget your camera and warm clothing at night. Passengers on medication should make certain they have ample supply before the start of their trip. One medium sized suitcase not weighing in excess of 15kg.

Licensed Travel Agency: We are a licensed Travel Agency and are financial member of the Travel Compensation fund.

Accommodation: We strive to give you the best of both worlds staying in Mountain Lodge Accommodation, Island Village Resorts, Colonial Country Hotel/Motels, farm stays. Our standard where possible, will be a minimum of 3 ½ star.

Fare includes: Double/Twin share basis. Persons making a single booking must realise they may be required to pay the single room extra cost unless we are able to match them up with another single booking. If a single room is requested it comes at an extra cost and is advertised as S/Supp. All entry fees and meals as stated in the itinerary.

Alterations to Itinerary:

These tours involve travel in remote areas and the operator reserves the right to alter itineraries or accommodation as necessitated by weather, road and other operational conditions prevailing at the time each tour takes place. Any personal expenses incurred by a passenger as a result of any delay, alteration or curtailment of any tour, whether caused by mechanical defect, flooding or any other cause is the responsibility of passenger. The operator is unable to guarantee exact arrival and departure time and is not liable for any failure to make connections with any other service or guarantee the operation of any particular service.

Rights of the operator: The operator has the right to decline to retain any passenger at any time if it is considered that they are seriously disturbing the tour.

Travel Insurance: Full comprehensive insurance is not included, BUT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. To protect yourself against any unforseen circumstances contact David on 1800 724 400 to arrange your travel insurance.

Deposit: Day Tours - To be paid in full within 7 days of booking (We cannot hold a booking without a payment)
Extended Tours - A deposit of A$200.00 per person is required within 7 days of booking. Balance to be paid 45 days prior to departure.

*** International Trips, King Island, Flinders Island and Norfolk Island payments are non refundable (travel insurance is a must!) ***

Cancellation Policy:
Day Tour: A $20.00pp administration fee will be charged. No refund within 4 days of departure
Extended Tour: the following fees apply per person. Airfares are non refundable.
